Olio’s Food Waste Heroes Programme is a simple, flexible way for productions to share surplus catering with the local community – no matter where you’re shooting from.
We connect productions with passionate, trained volunteers, who collect surplus food and share it with people who need it. We’ll make sure any unserved food that’s still edible gets shared and eaten – from snacks, salads and sandwiches to hot meals, soups and stews. That way, your shoots can deliver game-changing social impact.

We work with production companies, studios and broadcasters across the UK to rehome, resell and recycle leftover items that would otherwise have gone to waste.
